Cedar Planter Elevated - Medium

Hand made planter box, made from cedar. The size is approx. 46 in. x 14 in x 16 in tall.  The cedar is rough on both sides. The planter box is approx. 11 in. deep. which is plenty pof room for both vegetables and flowers. The planter sits on legs which elevates it from the ground, the floor of the plater has weeping holes to let water escape through the bottom.

Wood Care:

Cedar is rot resistant but that does not make it rot proof. Any wood exposed to the outside will be impacted and start deteriorating litle-by-little from day one. That is doubly true for the parts that are in ground contact (the legs). Order a Pre-finished Box - We also offer an our boxes as finished versions with one coat of either Outdoor Defense Oil(clear/amber tint) or Dark Half  which are both Tung Oil based finishes by RMPCo. Finished boxes have the finishing fee of $20.00/box already added to their sales price. The finish is applied to all sides, including the inside of the box and the bottom. Ordering a finished box adds 1 - 2 days to the pick-up or delivery timeframe. 

Tip: If you are buying multiple boxes, it is much less expensive to purchase the finish and apply it yourself. Reach out to Farmer Vic on advice on which finish you might want to use and how much you need. Finishes in stock can be added to your pick-up or delivered along with the boxes. Pickup vs Delivery

We do not ship these boxes, we only offer local pickup or limited weekend delivery (by request and pre-arrangement) to surrounding towns which include Newtown, Brookfield, Danbury, Bethel, Southbury and Monroe in Connecticut.

This item is for local pickup from by client at FVCreations workshop and any delivery must be pre-arrangedand agreed upon.

If you order delivery we will reach out to you to confirm. If delivery is not possible we will refund your delivery fee and change the order to a pick-up in person sale. If you cannot pick up we will refund the full sales price - no questions asked.
